Masroor Rock Cut Temple is a popular archaeological site in Dev Bhumi Himachal Pradesh in Bharat (India). Various studies conducted by the many experts Suggested that the temple complex was built in between 8th-9th century AD. There are 15 monolithic rock cut temples designed in Indo-Aryan style. The main shrine contains the idols of Bhagwan Ram, Maa Sita and Laxman. Total there is 15 temples and were carved out of a single rock.

Masroor Temples are rock cut temples and also known as the Ellora of Himachal. It is believed that they were first built by PANDAVAS while they were travelling and historically, they belong to the 7th and 8th centuries, may have been built by built by Katoch Dynasty. The temples are magnificent structures and carved into a single rock. The temples are covered with amazingly carvings depicting Shiv ji, Kartikeya, Indra, Surya, and many forms of the goddesses. Temples also provides a superb view of Mighty Dhauladhar Ranges.

By train: The nearest well-connected railway station to Masroor is Pathankot, which is located 87 km from Dharamshala. The Kangra Railway Station is only connected by a narrow-gauge train from Pathankot to Joginder Nagar. From Pathankot, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Masroor.

By road: Masroor can be reached by road from Dharamshala and Kangra.  it is recommended to hire a vehicle from Dharamshala or Kangra for a convenient journey.
